When we came out with the original Transformer Bar a few years ago, every professional strength coach, trainer, and clinician scrambled to get one in their facility, understanding the immense value an adjustable squat bar can provide for a wide variety of applications. This bar quickly became the industry's premium squat specialty bar and today finds itself in thousands of home gyms, commercial facilities, clinics, and professional/collegiate weight rooms.
What we didn't realize is how popular the bar would be with home gym owners and regular gym-goers who wanted a better bar to squat with. The Transformer Bar's novel design allows for common squat position variations using a simple pin mechanism, allowing even novice lifters to learn the squat movement pattern in an easier, more comfortable way. The bar's longer handles and proprietary bend provides a balanced "center" that makes the lifter feel at ease under the bar as they focus on the lift. It's an absolutely stunning piece of training hardware!
The newly re-engineered Transformer Bar is a patent-pending, purpose-built, multi-function specialty barbell which allows for adjustment in the weight's center of mass relative to the lifter's body; changing loading mechanics, movement dynamics, and training effect. It is purpose-built for easy use in both professional (athletic, clinical), commercial, and home gym settings. No other training bar comes close to matching the versatility of use and application as the Transformer Bar.
With this latest iteration (v4.0) of the Transformer Bar, our engineering staff went back to the drawing board to address common issues with the original design and make substantial improvements in both usability and manufacturability. This process of continuous improvement, or kaizen, is central to our product and engineering philosophy. Major improvements on the new Transformer Bar include:
One gorgeous bar, 24 positions. Used by a vast majority of professional and collegiate sports organizations for strength training, in clinical/rehab settings, and thousands of home gyms around the world.
