I (finally) used them for the first time the other day. So far, no problems. I look forward to building back up my muscle strength so I tack on more plates as I go along. No, they are not a perfect set of weights like those we are accustomed to using at the gym, but they are a great substitute as far as I'm concerned. Considering the compact design and all. My only regret is not purchasing the custom metal knurled grip version of the Powerblocks, However that would have significantly increased the price point. One other thing, before I purchased these PowerBlocks, I performed a veritable tonne of research! One anecdote I found, from a Youtube video was in regards to the Bar Extensions, you know to do presses with and the like. Powerblocks sells two versions, a straight bar for bench pressing and an ez-curl bar. The aforementioned youtuber recommended to someone else, as a choice between the two, to just get the ez-curl bar for curls, and for Bench Press or overhead press or whatever other exercises, by grasping further out towards the blocks themselves but before the bend IN the bar itself. That might be a near-future purchase from me, as I once asked AKFIT before if it was available, to which the response was that it could be "ordered-in". Great!
