The mechanism has been drop tested extensively in a drop-testing rig that simulates the varieties of 15.000 real life drops at heights of 1.6 m loaded with 320 kg of plates, as well as heights of 2.2 m with 90 kg. Not to mention the hydraulic press test that proved the Slidelock can endure a vertical pressure of 15.000kg, while staying perfectly intact.

I've been using the Allrounder for nearly a full year now in my home gym. Dealing with collars seems like such a hassle now when I use other bars, every bar should have the Slide-lock! Gungnir has truly harnessed the power of the Gods!.. The bar is not only intelligent, it is masterfully machined and beautifully designed. The knurling is perfect for my everyday lifting, along with the ease of use and convenience of the slide-lock, it adds another level of satisfaction and enjoyment to my workouts I never thought I needed. Every gym should have this.
